I don’t like my voice inflection in the first sermon. I may sound angry to some, but I assure you I was not. Even when the angry man challenged me to step down, I was not mad at all. But since I could not use amplification, and the small crowd was so spread apart, I had to raise my voice for all of them to hear the message. I later learned that it was clearly heard to those on the left, the center, and the far right. Lot’s of conversations from it.

Regarding my presentation of the Gospel, my ‘mentor of evangelism’ said it best. “And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God (1 Corinthians 2:1-5):

The first sermon is in its entirety, others are excerpts only, the rest of today’s work I did not include in this video (too many bikini close-ups).

With all that said, this was probably one of the most uneventful days that I’ve had. However thou it seems that hardly anyone was interested in hearing the Gospel today, sowing His Seed is never in vein; as His Word will not return void. This is a small portion of todays ‘labor of love.’

Disclaimer: When I said “Jesus’ wings,” that was a poor articulation of Psalm 91:4. “He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

“In answer to your inquiry, I consider that the chief dangers which confront the coming century will be religion without the Holy Ghost, Christianity without Christ, forgiveness without repentance, salvation without regeneration, politics without God, and heaven without hell.” – William Booth, Founder of the Salvation Army
