This is the first time I’ve ever evangelized this location. I had a bad feeling about this place (as I am aware of its reputation.) Despite the constant opposition that I endured from this security guard, I pressed-on. Yes there is a time to retreat. But there is also a time to remain steadfast and press-on. What I generally will not do, is frequently evangelize the same place. A spiritual tactician should not give the enemy their weekly schedules, by showing up the same place, on the same day. Henceforth, that is why I move around a lot. That decreases the chance of being ‘set up.’ I believe this is the type of place that would do just that. As you’ve seen in many of our videos, most sinister places call the police in hopes to intimidate evangelists. But I can assure you, the last thing this place wants, is a police presence. Notice how the security searches the patrons?
“Salvation is entirely a matter of God’s free, sovereign choice… Nevertheless, it is equally true to say that if a man is not saved, it is because of his own rejection of the gospel which is offered to him.” ~ Martyn Lloyd-Jones.
“Some want to live within the sound of church or chapel bell; I want to run a rescue shop, within a yard of hell.” ~ C.T. Studd.
“If sinners will be damned, at least let them leap to hell over our bodies. And if they perish, let them perish with our arms about their knees, imploring them to stay. If hell must be filled, at least let it be filled in the teeth of our exertions, and let not one go there unwarned and unprayed for.” ~ Charles Spurgeon.
“Do you want to go to heaven alone? I fear you will never go there. Have you no wish for others to be saved? Then you are not saved yourself. Be sure of that.” ~ Charles Spurgeon.
“How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?” (Romans 10:14).
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek” (Romans 1:16).
