3-minute video on ‘The Dangers Facing the Young and Reformed Movement’, by Paul Washer

There are many that err on all sides of differing doctrinal persuasions. But it is vitally important that we never paint an entire group of people, with our own ignorant ‘broad brush of this and that.’ Paul Washer has consistently been an objective impartial advocate of the truth.

On the contrary, I have sadly seen some become prideful subjective opinionators, rather than objective seekers of the truth. There are a few that I used to subscribe to, but I believe they have risen to the level of throwing discord among the brethren (specifically against reformers), and God hates it (Proverbs 6:16-19).

In these short three minutes, Washer respectfully and lovingly talks about the importance of the intellect, the studying of doctrine and theology; and that it will increase your zeal. However studying without a healthy prayer life, is unwise.

As he quoted another man ~

You can go a thousand miles that way, and walk in falsehood. You can go a thousand miles that way, and walk in falsehood. But to walk in the truth, is like walking on a razor blade, you can fall off either side.

We must walk, pray, and study circumspectly.

“But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen” (2 Peter 3:18). – Chaplain Bill 🙂
