Ask a Jew (Dennis Prager) Ask a Gentile (Alistair Begg), hosted by Hugh Hewitt

Alistair Begg did much better than most pastors seen on video. Many make Dennis Prager feel comfortable on his way to hell. Some will even wrongfully lend him their pulpit at ecumenical events, in their Christian sanctuaries. Thank you Alistair!

Hugh Hewitt asks Alistair Begg if he believed in hell, and if so, is Dennis Prager going there. Begg replies, “The answer to the first question is “yes,” and the answer to the second question is “not yet.” Dennis Prager wrongfully believes that God will judge him on a sliding scale, and he admits, “I’m not a Theology fan, I’m a morality and God fan.” I know Prager understands Hebrew, I’d love to share this with him. Prager’s “morality” (or pseudō righteousness) is as good as a dirty Kotex.

As it says in Isaiah 64:6 “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness’s are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.”

This word ‘filthy’ in ‘filthy rags’ is the Hebrew word iddah (‛êd’). Translated as ‘the bodily fluids from a woman’s menstrual cycle.’ This ‘rag’ is the soiled rag and/or garment. Conversely, that’s what Prager’s sliding scale of good works will be worth, as he presents them to God. Or as another scholar said, “Therefore, these “righteous acts” are considered by God as repugnant as a soiled feminine hygiene product.”
