Short video ‘Don’t beg from men, but persevere in prayer until God comes down,’ by Paul Washer

As Washer said, “You can trust God. If God has called you to do something, why run to men? Why tell them? Why raise support from them? Why speak great things about yourself, so that they might give…”

But it’s not just the Televangelists that are begging for money. It’s seen on many YouTube channels as they display captions like “Become a Gospel partner with us.” It’s seen on local Gospel tract ministry asking others to “Partner with us,” so you can fund their payrolls and large overhead. It’s even seen amongst some street preachers. Heralds who are dogmatically against para-church ministries, and any evangelist that might share the Gospel without being sent by their local church, but will hypocritically ask others from outside their church to fund them. In other words, do as I say, not as I do. Though the evangelist should be sent out by their local church (and not a para-church ministry) they should be financed by their local church.
