The mission is to glorify the Lord, exalt Christ, edify the saints, and evangelize the lost.
Please understand that the Lord has called Christians to be missionaries ‘outside the four walls’ of the place that most call their ‘church.’ For some, our mission field is local (Jerusalem.) For others it is Judea, Samaria, and/or the uttermost parts of the world.
The Christians are the actual church. The word “church” in the New Testament comes from the Greek word ‘ekklēsía,’ which is translated to “an assembly,” and “to call out,” or the “called out ones.” Therefore, it is the Biblical duty and calling, of Christians (the church) to go out into the world. To be salt of the earth, and light of the world.
This is accomplished by sharing Gods’ love through (including but not limited to,) the preaching and teaching of the whole counsel of the inerrant (does not err), infallible (cannot err), unredacted, non-truncated Word of God. As well as through community outreaches, events, one on one ministering, jail visits, hospital visits, open-air preaching, Government buildings, long distance itinerant preaching road trips, short term mission trips, officiating funerals, evangelizing police funerals, and memorials, podcasts, and a whole lot more.
The Apostle Paul set his sights to preach in places where Christ had never been preached. That is what the Lord is pressing Bill to do. As the Apostle Paul said, “And so I have made it my aim to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build on another man’s foundation” (Romans 15:20).
Therefore Bill also labors at nude bars (on the outside,) inside regular bars, abortion mills, narcotics locations, to pimps, prostitutes, and places that pander them. ABC locations, gambling locations, necromancers, marijuana festivals, terrorism incidents, adult book stores (on the outside), pro-Palestinian pro-Hamas rallies, and any other VICE activity (or location) you could imagine.
As Paul Bunyan said, “Christianity: We can do it the easy way, or Gods way.” We chose to do it Gods way. We confront them with the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.
