This young man is certainly not an emergent. It is the carnal lukewarm emergent ‘believers’ (if they are saved;) that will most likely unBiblcally judge this brother’s heart. They might even call him “legalistic,” or a “legalist,” or “self-righteous,” of even “unloving” for preaching the truth in love.
These are ad hominem attacks that the enemy (thru Satan) throws up as a smoke screen, to silence the truth. John the Baptist preached like this. Why? Because he didn’t want to love them into hell, with an unbiblical adulterated form of love. He wants to win you over to Salvation thru Christ, with the truth in love. Because love without the Biblical truth, is meaningless.
Thank you for not being a Romans 1:32 tolerating / acquiescer. Thank you for being balanced in Theology. With both the love of God, and the wrath of God. It says in Ephesian 4:26-27, “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil.”

Got an email of opposition from a ‘pro-lifer’ that stated, “Wow! Pretty loud! And crazy! I really like “name snipped” approach!”

She then stated, “But screaming isn’t the answer at people! Would Jesus have done that? I try to follow ‘The Jesus Style”!

First: Folks, John the Baptist was “loud and crazy.” The reason why this Biblical preacher was “loud,” was because the murder suspects were inside with their doors and windows closed. Hence, that’s why he was shouting.

Secondly: There are many passages in the Scriptures, where the LORD Jesus Christ did get angry. And yes, He even raised His voice a few times, and yes He shouted.

Folks, it is important to not form Jesus into a figment of our own imagination. It’s Biblical to submit ourselves to His Lordship.

The emergent Jesus Culture (or “The Jesus Style”) movement, form their Christian worldview around a rubber wrist bracelet with the initials WWJD.

It is better to submit to Him and His Word, in context. Jesus isn’t some ‘culture’ or some “style.” Jesus is the Christ. He is a Just Righteous Holy Holy Holy God.

In Mark 8:29 a dialog occurred between Jesus and Peter. Jesus asked Peter “Who do you say I am?” Peter answered, “You are the Messiah.” Notice Peter didn’t say Jesus was some cool guy with long hair and beach sandals? Or some unbiblical “Jesus style?”

Let us fear the Lord and not man.

Many will want a milk toast preaching: 2 Timothy 4:3 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions.
Let us respect others Biblical gifts (including the preacher in that video.) Eph 4:11-16 ‘And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.’

Let us know who the real Jesus of the Bible is: he wasn’t a sissy, a culture, nor a “style.”
