So many today do not understand the significance of the father, that walks his daughter down the aisle.

He is the head of her family, which she is about to leave. She walks to his left side (his rib,) which is the closest to daddy’s heart.

When he releases his clutch upon her, he transfers her over to the groom. This maneuver, is more important than the most important play, in a super bowl game (see photo – click to enlarge,)

Men listen up. Never ever, leave the brides dad out of the picture. Always ask him, for her hand in marriage before you propose to her. If you’ve already done that without asking him, tell him you’re sorry, and ask for his forgiveness. I like this daddy.
