Pumping gas @ station that was taken away by a tornado, then this happened😃

With so many complaining about gas prices today. I thank the Lord that He providentially decreed this gas pump incident.

This is my first time getting gas at this gas station / mini market since it was leveled by a deadly tornado. When a tornado removes a building, this is also known as the property being “slabbed.”

As I looked for a place to swipe or insert my card, I was surprised (but glad) to learn these brand-new pumps didn’t have merchant service capabilities. Though this entire gas station is newly rebuilt, including their pumps, they kept the old-school feel by having the honor system, or pump first and pay after. That’s the way all gas stations were when I was a child. I hope lowlife thieves don’t rip this place off.

Nonetheless, while I was attempting to film a commentary on this gas station, I felt gas splattering on my leg and heard the splashing. It became clear then that the automatic shutoff mechanism was not working on my nozzle. After fueling my vehicle and gas can, I went inside to pay and tell the kind lady that her pump (nozzle) was hazardous and needed repair. I handed her my Gospel tract and said, “But here is some better news, no, it’s Good News!” As always at gas pumps, as seen in this video, I also left a drop card on the pump.

Thank You, Lord, for this.
