Video of ‘The BEST MEMORIAL DAY ever’
During this holiday season, my theme was memorializing the most prolific, powerful, and prophetic Memorial Day ever. One that I formally celebrate monthly. Though this Memorial Day is the most important, it was also an opportunity to thank our Veterans for their service. The “Atheist” was very mellow, but the aggressive ones will be commenting soon (via YouTube).

Yesterday, while at the grocery store, I saw lots of RVs and truck-and-trailer combos loaded with camping equipment and/or boats, all of which we enjoy ourselves. And many of them were loading up their ice chests from the ice vendor. But I captured this photo, which depicts one Amish family parked while grocery shopping, with one of many boats in the background. To some, this weekend is patriotic, but to others, it is about their most important day, the Lord’s Day, where they celebrate the most important Memorial, the Lord’s Supper, an ordinance of the church. Though the Amish and Reformers have many doctrinal differences. I’m more like the Amish here. Keeping it vertical, Semper Reformanda, Make #Piety Great Again! More below –

The Lord’s Day:
“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates. 11 For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.” – Exodus 20:8-11

LBCF Chapter 22:7:

“As it is the law of nature, that in general a proportion of time, by God’s appointment, be set apart for the worship of God, so by his Word, in a positive moral, and perpetual commandment, binding all men, in all ages, he hath particularly appointed one day in seven for a e sabbath to be kept holy unto him, which from the beginning of the world to the resurrection of Christ was the last day of the week, and from the resurrection of Christ was changed into the first day of the week, f which is called the Lord’s Day: and is to be continued to the end of the world as the Christian Sabbath, the observation of the last day of the week being abolished.” ( e Exo 20:8; f 1Co 16:1-2; Act 20:7; Rev 1:10)

Communion, in memorial of Christ:

And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.” – Luke 22:18-20

“In this ordinance Christ is not offered up to his Father, nor any real sacrifice made at all for remission of sin of the quick or dead, but only a memorial of that c one offering up of himself by himself upon the cross, once for all; and a spiritual oblation of all d possible praise unto God for the same. So that the popish sacrifice of the mass, as they call it, is most abominable, injurious to Christ’s own sacrifice the alone propitiation for all the sins of the elect.” ( c Heb 9:25-26,28; d 1Co 11:24; Mat 26:26-27).
