My thoughts on the election results of last night’s 4th Congressional District in Kentucky – Thomas Massie

I hoped Congressman Thomas Massie would not lose to Ed Gallrein, but the Lord decreed otherwise. Though the Lord is not the author of sin, He decrees all things to occur. The Lord is the sovereign Ruler and King of all, including the election results.

Thomas Massie has a voting record to prove he is a liberty-minded freedom fighter. He is America First over foreign interests. He is more constitutional, more fiscally conservative, more pro-gun, and principled over party. He is more for limited government than the status quo of the corrupted Republican Party. And he was not afraid to go against the establishment. But President Donald Trump did not like that. Even though Massie was rightfully representing his constituents, Trump interfered. Perhaps a repeat of the Yankee President going against the South again.

President Donald Trump, who has proven many times to be arrogant and prideful, conspired in facilitating a coup d’état to unseat Massie. And he did so by using foreign intervention and millions of dollars of foreign aid. In my opinion (emphasis added), that is a form of political espionage and treason. But sadly, on July 1st, 2024, SCOTUS issued a horrific milestone 6-3 decision in Trump v. United States, granting Trump and future Presidents immunity from certain acts committed while in office. I hope I’m wrong. But the Kentuckians who voted for Gallrein got what they voted for. A bought and paid for puppet on strings for Donald Trump, as is Pete Hegseth.

All of this political nonsense increases my faith in the Lord, reminding me of His decrees and providence, while diminishing my view of man (the second cause of His decree). In fact, as I’ve said before. I trust only in God; all others I investigate or place under surveillance. The judgment of Almighty God is inevitable. Lord, let Your will be done!

Without apology, below is a blog post I wrote ten years ago when Trump ran in 2016.
