Why House Church, by Dale Partridge

Amen, I say let’s Make House Churches Great Again.

Since I have been reformed, I have desired a house church, because that is what we see in the Scriptures. Not the modern-day model, whereas the church is often seen as the building, or the building as the church, rather than solely ‘the people.’ So, the people (the church) do not have to be concerned about the building, real estate, property taxes, leases, mortgages, maintenance, landscaping, payroll, benefit packages, etc. But I cannot even consider that here in our home, or another home nearby, because I know not enough truly reformed folks to do this. And if we were to be part of a house church plant. I will not compromise in being reformed, covenant Theology, doctrines of grace, 1689, elders-led, expositional preaching and teaching, family integrated, patriarchal, and a regulative principle of worship. And orthopraxy of such orthodoxy.

DISCLAIMER: I sometimes share excerpts from various sermons (or videos) from various professing Christians. However, this does not mean I endorse all views of every person shared here or in other videos on their channel.
