Lord willing, tomorrow, Tennessee executes the first female in 200 years, Condemned killer Christa Pike

Lord willing, tomorrow, for the first time in over 200 years, the state of Tennessee will be executing a female on death row. Condemned killer Christa Pike will be executed for murdering victim Colleen Slemmer. As expected, Antinomians, liberals, pacifists, and various others with an antibiblical empathy, oppose her execution.

According to Facebook posts, Arminians are praying hard for Pike’s salvation. But I will pray as Jesus prayed in what’s known as His High Priestly prayer in John 17. I will pray for His elect. Pike is not God’s elect; she is professed to be a Buddhist-Satanist. Yes, doctrine matters, even when the death clock is ticking. Christians will love Biblical justice, while hating evil. “Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good” (Romans 12:9). Lord, let Your Sovereign will, be done.

Update 09/30/26: The Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals gave Pike a “stay of execution” just before she was to be executed. This could be a long term ordeal, or, it could be immediately overturned by the SCOTUS. Click here for more.
