Video warning of ‘Christians who practice Yoga’
I’m told that an emergent church here in the Inland Empire now embraces this. There pastor needs to repent. If your church endorses this, ‘run’ from your church, and never look back.
The Bible warned in 1st Timothy 4:1-5 “Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.”
“There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord, and because of these abominations the Lord your God drives them out from before you.” Deuteronomy 18:10-12.

Yogo is also a form of mind control. Some also call it “mind over matter.” There is only one kind on ‘mind control’ that this mushy brain needs, that’s the mind of Christ. My brain should be like a computer hard drive, that gets a ‘scan disc’ and ‘defragmentation’ by the Word of God, put alive by His Holy Spirit. The mind must be protected. That is why one of the many pieces of the Armor of God, is the ‘helmet.’ It protects of mind.
Philippians 2:5 – Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
1 Corinthians 2:16 – For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
Romans 12:2 – And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
1 Corinthians Chapter 2:14-16 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.”
