Note: The tracts were distributed ‘before and after’ the actual ceremony. All conversations were removed. On this great day of the Lord I had the privilege of evangelizing this historical Los Angeles police event. My goal was to get a Gospel tract into as many hands as possible. By the grace and providence of the
The suspect armed with an AK-47 rifle shoots his mother-in-law and family. He then shoots this police officer in the neck. Watch how one officer drags the wounded officer from the line of fire. Then a neighbor (Dave) approached the wounded officer, as he bleeds-out on his own driveway; Dave prays over the officer. For
CNN has already pulled this video, but it can still be viewed here. To show my appreciation of Sheriff Clarke, I might be growing my goatee back. – Chaplain Bill 🙂
With all the controversy regarding law enforcement, what they need is the Gospel. Though I failed in giving a complete presentation of the Gospel, I tried. I have various other videos of other police outreaches on the IPOC web site. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power
Remember my post warning others that “Sadly many Monday morning quarterbacks on social media, have fueled the flames of this anti-police rhetoric. Henceforth, they are irresponsibly peripherally responsible for inciting these violent attacks on our police.” According to the below article, it now appears that Lavish Reynolds (aka Diamond Reynolds) gave a “false narrative” when
Sadly many Monday morning quarterbacks on social media, have fueled the flames of this anti-police rhetoric. Henceforth, they are irresponsibly peripherally responsible for inciting these violent attacks on our police. Interestingly just last week in various places, I street preached from that text on ‘Lawlessness.’ Listen to the first 30 seconds in this video. Two
During the 1992 Los Angeles riots, we learned from our mistakes, primarily from a break down in leadership. Henceforth LAPD developed what was called a Mobile Field Force configuration (MFF), in which I later became a squad leader in one of their many MFF squads. “Hats and bats line up on me.” As long as
Today via an invitation from another, the Lord provided a huge opportunity to evangelize this National Police Week / Peace Officers Memorial Day event, held at the San Bernardino Police Dept. The police officers present were representatively from the entire San Bernardino County, which is the largest county in the Nation. I distributed approximately 200
I did not know about this street preachers arrest, booking, prosecution, conviction, and jail sentencing until today (after most of his sentence has already been served). According to Roy Spears below Facebook post, King was “preaching the Gospel at a sports facility” when he was arrested. The misdemeanor crime that he allegedly committed was first
A few weeks ago while off-roading with my wife, an off road vehicle was in the process of being recovered from a nasty ravine. While the line of Jeeps waited for its recovery, I distributed some Gospel tracts to fellow off-roaders. This fellow Martin is one of those off-roaders that received a tract. Martin is
My wife and I retreated to one of her favorite campgrounds. The only way we could afford beach front property, is to camp along the ocean, and so we did. We spent a greater time in prayer, and studying Gods Word. We also began our journey through the ‘Behold your God’ study. However my wife
On March 3rd, 1986 Rialto Police Sergeant Gary Wolfley was enroute to a radio call. His wife Candice (Candy) happened to be on a ride along with Gary. However upon arrival tragically the suspect shot and killed Gary with Gary’s own handgun. Gary’s funeral was the first police funeral that I had attended as uniformed
Today I responded to an invitation to attend a men’s breakfast in Norco, that presented an edifying message on the eight Greek words for worship and praise. While driving back through Riverside I decided to see what was going on in their downtown area. To my surprise was a city sponsored event called the Riverside
Before I preface this video, I want to take notice that this police officer is willing to discuss the Lord and His Word while on duty. Most ‘professed’ Christian police officers do not have the courage to do so. So I must give him that credit where it is due. However it looks like this
