Videos of ‘The Gospel Invasion of the Redlands DMV’ (a hostile heckler, police response, professed Christians, real Christians, and a gentleman atheist & much more)
As you may know, some evangelists have been getting cited, arrested, and even prosecuted in criminal court for preaching at DMV’s (public property.) Last month I was told by a supervisor to leave the property (video here). I have since obtained a permit by the State (a permit to “proselytize”). This proselytizing permit will enable me to evangelize this DMV (upon their premises), every day for a period of two weeks.
Lord willing over the next two weeks, my goal is to hand one Gospel tract to every person, introduce myself, and then preach both the ‘Law and Gospel’ into the open air. I will then make myself available to those that might have any questions, or that may respond to the Gospel.
When I arrived today, it was then that I realized my permit didn’t begin until 8:00AM. However the lines on both sides of the DMV building grew to be lengthy by 7:15AM. Therefore I gave them all tracts, and began to preach. However the DMV supervisor came out and refused to shed me a 30-minute grace period. The police did respond, and they acted professionally. One officer received a tract, and the other refused a tract.
In the first video below, you will see spiritual warfare taking place. Satan’s demons hate the public preaching of the Gospel. One person that professed to be a Christian became very hostile, and shouted over my voice. This heckler then began to argue with a courageous Christian lady in the line (I am sorry for that). You will see her and others approach me towards the end of this video. You will also see several Christians in the crowd nodding their heads in affirmation of the Gospel. Another alleged Christian handed his tract back to me, and stated his disapproval of public preaching.
Just before sowing Seed (the Gospel) at public locations. I often wonder how many more professed Christians will oppose the preaching of the Gospel. I’m going to start publicly calling what many of them are. Often times they are one of the seven things that God hates.
“These six things the Lord hates, yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift in running to evil, a false witness who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brethren” (Prov 6:16-19).
There was a time when I did not understand open air preaching. But I never tried to stop it. Some sow Seed, while others sow discord. Which side are you on?
Jesus warned in Luke 9:26, “For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His own glory, and in His Father’s, and of the holy angels.”
To be ashamed of the public preaching of the Gospel, is tantamount to being ashamed of Jesus. To be embarrassed of the public preaching of the Gospel, is to be embarrassed of Christ. To go against the preaching of the Gospel, is to be against Jesus Christ.
Most of these professed believers that oppose the preaching of the Gospel are either not saved, or they are being convicted as they wallow in their unrepented sins. Or they are baby Christians that don’t yet understand Biblical evangelism.
Please keep them, and this outreach in prayer.

Thanks to those that financially support IPOC Ministries, I ordered customized “Parking Citation” tracts specifically for this outreach. Rather than give strangers an anonymous tract, I recommend getting yours at Gospel Tract Planet. The price is reasonable. But more importantly, they will preprint your ministry and/or church contact info on them. That better enables people to contact you, if they have any questions. Because of that, I’ve been able to follow-up with some souls, and plant them into churches in their area. I purchased these traffic violation tracts thru this link here http://www.tractplanet.com/Custom-Tract–Parking-Ticket_p_143.html
For those of you that profess to be Christians, but oppose the pubic proclamation of the Gospel, watch this video by James Knox – Teaching at the Beale Street Blitz 2014.
Sadly too many professed Christians are not willing to proclaim the truth out in the world. Sure many of them do a fine job on Facebook, or inside the four walls of that building that they call their church, or inside their home Bible studies; but they fail to ‘go out’ and boldly preach (or share) the Gospel. Even worse, they criticize those that do.
My dear friends the Lord Jesus made it very clear in Rev 21:8, that the “cowardly” will be cast into the lake of fire, which is the second death. I believe that ‘cowardliness’ is the most prevalent un-repented sin amongst those that profess to be Christians. Courage is not an option, it is a commandment. Similarly to ‘repentance,’ courage and confidence comes from the Lord. If you lack courage, pray that the Lord gives you courage.
When preaching the Gospel out in the world, I’m amazed how many ‘professed’ believers will try to impede (or interrupt) the preaching. Jesus also warned in Luke 9:26, ‘For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father’s, and of the holy angels.”
If you’re ashamed of the Gospel being preached out in the public square, then you’re ashamed of Christ. Please re read what Jesus said in Luke 9:26. That is the fruit of a non-believer. Repent and believe in the Gospel. Repent and don’t be ashamed of the public preaching of the Gospel.
“No sort of defense is needed for preaching out-of-doors; but it would need very potent arguments to prove that a man had done his duty who has never preached beyond the walls of his meetinghouse.” ~ Charles H. Spurgeon
“You are either called to go down into the well, or hold the rope for those who go down. Either way, there will be scars on your hands.” ~ Paul Washer – HeartCry Missionary Society.
“If sinners will be damned, at least let them leap to hell over our bodies. And if they perish, let them perish with our arms about their knees, imploring them to stay. If hell must be filled, at least let it be filled in the teeth of our exertions, and let not one go there unwarned and unprayed for.” ~ Charles Spurgeon.
“Do you want to go to heaven alone? I fear you will never go there. Have you no wish for others to be saved? Then you are not saved yourself. Be sure of that.” ~ Charles Spurgeon.
