My original plan was to study the book of Psalms as my next ‘private study and devotion.’ But as Charles H. Spurgeon said, “The delightful study of the Psalms has yielded me boundless profit and ever-growing pleasure; common gratitude constrains me ‘to communicate to others a portion of the benefit,’ with the prayer that it
I street preached from Psalm 5:4-6, I then explained some of the attributes of God, I then preached the glorious Gospel, while warning them of unbiblical soteriologies; and then I opened up for Q&A (and the questions came). Thankfully this went must smoother than Tuesday’s outreach. The harvest is extremely ripe right now.
Today while preaching I used the shooting of the ‘Route 91 Harvest’ concert as a ‘segue’ into my open-air sermon. It’s amazing how many believe that all victims of a horrific crime, will “RIP.” And when I ‘attempted’ to teach what the Bible says about this, many in this crowd became very hostile and intense.
When I first posted this video, the YouTuber of this video (unworthyservant) advised his viewers that this preaching was at the exact same concert as was the shooting. It was later determined that information was incorrect. Yes this was a ‘Jason Alden’ concert, but it was in the Bay area, just days before the shooting
I just got back from spending an amazing seven days in Tennessee. My primary reason for going, was to attend Reforming America Ministries third annual two-day Reformation Preaching Conference, which was hosted at Calvary Bible Church in Joelton. I traveled afar to sit, lean, listen, and learn under a collective team of extraordinary polished sophisticated
After listening to Dr. Lawson’s message on Psalm 90, I have decided to commit the entire book of Psalms to my next ‘personal’ study. But rather than keep it personal, Lord willing I will videotape an expository – exegetical teaching via my YouTube channel (from my study at home). Though I am not King James
According to the F.B.I. the suspect has been identified as Bill Rhetts, a man who has been radically saved, and radically changed, by a radical God. Rhetts is described as a male while, 6’-02”, 230lbs, blond hair (a crew cut), wearing a garment made out of “camel’s hair, with a leather belt around his waist,”
Working in Law Enforcement is unpredictable. It can provide ‘hours of boredom, and moments of sheer terror.’ In other words, nothing is routine, and you never know when the unexpected occurs. And so it is with Open-Air Preaching, you never know what will occur. Though there was no “terror” here, after warning this crowd that
Please pray for the fellow at the end. He’s going through some very difficult times, the Lord knows his name and the details. Thank You Lord for this opportunity, to love this neighbor. As Jesus warned, “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars;” (Luke 21:25a). Stupendous eclipses
A balanced Theology is important, even in places that may not be stomached well by others. In these two videos both scholars truthfully teach the whole counsel of God, as well as a balance in the attributes of God. In the first video Dr. Robert Morey answers that question “Does God love everybody?” Morey warns
The Scriptures warn that God is a jealous God. Too many professing Christians made too much out of the Eclipse, when they should have been making much more out of Christ. Look at all the Catastrophes since this eclipse. These ‘signs of the times’ are for one purpose – to point us to, and prepare
Apparently this video includes some unintended humor (or embarrassment). I had just bought a new pair of jeans, and this morning was my first time wearing them. It wasn’t until after this video (in editing), that I noticed a tag was still on my right rear pants leg. Please pray for this trip (Lord willing).
I am still ‘street’ preaching through the book of Romans. Thankfully through this message, the Lord provoked some responses, and inquiring minds. In this outreach I could have easily engaged in Theological malpractice, getting those “inquiring minds” to either “accept Jesus,” “repeat this prayer,” or make a “decision for Christ,” and then of course go
